Introduction
The International Advanced Subsidiary in Chemistry (AS only) and the Full Advanced Level in Chemistry (AL) are modular qualifications.
Chemistry is the central experimental science but an extremely challenging subject.
Based on my 5+ years of teaching experience, several topics are usually found hard to learn by the majority of students.
For example:
•Formulae, Equations and Amount of Substance
•Redox Chemistry
Organic Chemistry and Spectroscopy
•Entropy and Energetics
•Organic Synthesis
•Redox Chemistry
Organic Chemistry and Spectroscopy
•Entropy and Energetics
•Organic Synthesis
After deeply investigating the students' common difficulties, I prepared straightforward and schematic teaching resources using official IB sources and collected plenty of A Level exam material.
Which are the expected results?
1. Acquire new knowledge, successful study methods and strategies that will guarantee a high grade in all three final A Level Chemistry papers.
2. Study effectively without wasting time.

3. Understand each syllabus concept quickly rather than trying to memorize it.
4. Sit the official examination in an earlier session.

Is the Tutoring course identical
for Cambridge, OCR AND and Edexcel students?
The three A Level syllabi are similar but not the same.
The final papers have different structures, so I created three different A Level Tutoring Chemistry Courses.
Depending on your A Level syllabus, official teaching and exam materials will be provided.
Which is the structure of the A Level courseS?
They strictly follow the A Level Chemistry programme described in each official Specification:
• The International Advanced Subsidiary (AS) is the first half of the qualification and can be awarded as a discrete qualification or can contribute 50% towards the International Advanced Level qualification. It includes the first standalone units or modules.
• The International Advanced Subsidiary (AS) is the first half of the qualification and can be awarded as a discrete qualification or can contribute 50% towards the International Advanced Level qualification. It includes the first standalone units or modules.
• The Full International Advanced Level (AL) consists of the remaining 50% of the qualification and includes further other units or modules. These additional contents differ in each A Level specification.
Is it possible to cover the whole
IBDP Chemistry syllabus?
Yes!
Boosting your preparation will allow you to sit the official examination in an earlier session, saving time.
Suppose you want to cover the whole syllabus from scratch. The following are the suggested times:
International Advanced Subsidiary (AS only) = 5 to 6 Months*
Full International Advanced Level (AL) = 7 to 8 Months*
Full International Advanced Level (AL) = 7 to 8 Months*
*considering four lessons per week
You can interrupt the tutoring course anytime without paying extra fees!
