Introducing myself
Hi, my name is Emanuele. I am 34 years old, and I come from Italy. I spent several years studying and working abroad, and I am currently living in Doha.
I am a qualified international secondary chemistry teacher and a passionate scientist.
After achieving the PhD degree in geochemistry at the University of Otago in New Zealand, I began my career as an international secondary teacher. I have been teaching IGCSE, IBDP and A Level International Chemistry programmes for more than five years in different schools.
I play football in my free time and I like exploring new places. I have been to several countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Qatar, and the USA.
My passion for science brought me to explore the geochemical composition of worldwide volcanoes. I spent over three years exploring New Zealand volcanoes and analyzing magma chemical compositions in the lab.
I actively promote flexible, supportive, and dynamic teaching strategies. I like using all the most recent technologies (e.g., 3D interactive animations) to support the student's comprehension of invisible chemical processes.
This approach has brought significant results so far. The majority of my students achieved very high grades in the international examinations.
